Still… in the world of pointless selfies it is worthwhile to see the true potential of photography.
Interesting to note also that many of these photographs were taken by amateurs. Doesn’t diminish their power.

I post the link to ask a question out loud… why do editors illustrate their articles with such unimaginative, obvious and poorly executed crap?
I’ve noticed the standard of journalism online has fallen considerably, but does it have to be ‘illustrated’ by poor images?
I was in the sun this afternoon reading (or re-reading to be accurate) Rudolf Arnheim’s Visual Thinking.
